Your Role
The receiving control team currently consists of 6 individuals responsible for inspecting incoming items and providing measurement technical expertise in connection with deviations and investigations within production. This is done in close collaboration with purchasing and production quality.
You will work together with other team members to ensure that the right quality is maintained for incoming items. In this role, you will drive measurement technical issues in various forums, which entails a responsibility to contribute to a continuous improvement culture where the customer is always at the center.
Main Responsibilities
- Program and conduct measurements in measuring machines
- Measurements with handheld measuring tools
- Document completed inspections
- Administer quality documentation in the business system IFS
- Deviation management
- Visits and measurements at suppliers may also occur
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is meticulous, structured, analytical, and flexible. The work requires responsibility, endurance, and the ability to act based on daily priorities. You enjoy working in a team as well as independently. To succeed in this role, you should have good communication skills as the position requires daily contact with various functions. We value a humble personality that is open to change and development.
Desired Competencies:
- High school education with a technical focus
- At least 2 years of experience working with measuring machines and handheld measuring tools
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings, including form and position
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English
- Driving license B
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
